The Global Dignity Forum (GLODIF) has shed light on a pressing national concern—land rights—by embarking on a community visit to key areas in Ghana’s Greater Accra Region.

In communities such as Ayi Mensah, Abokobi Boi, and West Hills,  local residents shared their firsthand experiences, frustrations, and hopes regarding land disputes and injustices that threaten their livelihoods and social stability.

A compelling short documentary, now available on YouTube, captures these touching stories and underscores the urgent need for action. Through heartfelt interviews, community members express their struggles with land ownership, encroachments, and legal disputes that often leave them powerless.

Prominent human rights advocates have joined the call for justice. Dr. Joseph Kobla Wemakor, Executive Director of Human Rights Reporters Ghana (HRRG), Genevieve Partington, Country Director of Amnesty International Ghana, and Mr. Frank Doyi, Founding Chair of GLODIF, emphasize that urgent interventions are needed to protect vulnerable communities and uphold their land rights.

This documentary serves as a rallying cry for authorities and stakeholders to prioritize land justice, ensuring that communities are protected, their rights respected, and peace restored.

Watch the impactful video and join us in advocating for justice and dignity for all affected by Ghana’s land rights issues.

Together, we can make a difference. Justice must be served.
