Tamale, Aug.17, Fachi Little Flower School Complex has donated some items to Tamale Central Prison and Tamale Children’s Orphanage Home as part of their 30th anniversary celebration.

The items included bags of rice, gallons of cooking oils, clothes, dresses, drinking water, packs of toilet paper, boxes of soft drinks, bread, packs of diapers, and sanitary pads.

The others were washing and bathing soaps, Shoes and sandals for boys and girls, small toys, and learning materials.

Isaac Awelana Vonwow, the Senior Prefect of Fachi Little Flower School Complex who presented the items on behalf of the school to the two organizations, said the donations were part of the school’s 30th anniversary celebration to share with the poor and needy in society.

He said the anniversary celebration has the theme ‘Celebrating 30 years of quality education in the North’.

According to him, the donations were given as charity to put a smile on the faces of the prisoners and orphans in the Northern region.

Madam Dame Anna-Maria Fati Paul, the Managing Director of Fachi Little Flower School Complex Limited, entreated the caregivers of the Orphanage Home to assist with the development of the children to become good leaders in the country.

He urged the caregivers to spend quality time with the children to ensure their welfare and safety.

The supplies were accepted on behalf of Tamale Central Prison by Superintendent Kennedy K. Gbandan, the officer in charge of donations there.

The Tamale Children’s Home’s Acting Supervisor, Madam Saratu Sulemana, accepted the gifts on the institution’s behalf. They both express gratitude on behalf of their respective organizations to the school for its assistance.

Additionally, they made an appeal to other institutions and organizations to assist them and aid them in improving their work.

Fachi Little Flower School Complex Limited is a private school that was established on February 1, 1993, in Tamale, Northern Region.
