TERIA Foundation, Partners Open Call for Artists, Creatives, SMEs for Lapaz Streetfest 2026

Accra, Ghana—TERIA Foundation and its partners have opened a call for artists, creatives, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), vendors, and other businesses to participate in the Lapaz Streetfest 2026, scheduled for December 25 and 26 at Lapaz in Accra.

The festival, which will run from 10:00 a.m. till late each day, will be held under the theme “Rhythm of Unity” and is expected to combine music, dance, fashion, food, culture, tourism, creative arts, entrepreneurship, and community development.

The organizers say the festival is being developed in line with the vision of Ghana’s Black Star Experience, which seeks to position Ghana as a leading destination for authentic cultural, creative, and tourism experiences while creating opportunities for local communities, young people, and businesses to participate in the tourism and creative economy.

Streetfest listed on Ghana Tourism Marketplace

Lapaz Streetfest has been featured on the Ghana Tourism Marketplace through the portals of the Ghana Tourism Development Company Ltd. (GTDCL), in collaboration with the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) and the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts.

According to the organizers, the connection with the tourism sector reflects the broader objective of using community-based events to promote Ghanaian culture, local tourism, creative enterprise, and economic opportunities.

Artists, creatives invited

Performing artists, musicians, dancers, DJs, cultural performers, comedians, and other creatives are being encouraged to express their interest in participating in the festival.

The organizers say the event will provide a platform for participants to showcase their talents, connect with new audiences, and promote their brands while contributing to the celebration of Ghanaian culture during the Christmas season.

SMEs and vendors are also being invited to exhibit and market their products and services during the festival.

These include businesses operating in areas such as:

  • Food and beverages
  • Fashion and accessories
  • Arts and crafts
  • Beauty and lifestyle products
  • Creative products and services
  • Tourism-related businesses
  • Youth-led enterprises
  • Local brands and innovative businesses

Promoting community development

TERIA Foundation and its partners believe the festival can help increase the visibility of Lapaz as a destination for culture, entertainment, tourism, and entrepreneurship.

The organizers also expect the event to create opportunities for local talent and businesses to engage directly with audiences, expand their visibility, and generate new business opportunities.

They have therefore urged interested artists, creatives, SMEs, vendors, and exhibitors to contact the organizing team for participation and registration information.
