TT Brothers Limited, a marketing and distribution company of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, has marked its 22nd consecutive New Year celebration with children of the SOS Childrenâs Village in Tema through donations and a festive party.
The annual event brought together children, mothers, caregivers, staff of the Village, and members of the media to celebrate the New Year in a cheerful atmosphere.
Presenting the donations, the Secretary of the Company, Ms Juliana Aba Bilson, expressed gratitude to the SOS Childrenâs Village for sustaining the partnership over the years.
She said the visit had become a permanent fixture on the companyâs calendar and reaffirmed TT Brothers Limitedâs commitment to supporting the welfare of vulnerable children.
The items presented included 15 bags of rice, 15 bottles of cooking oil, and 30 cartons of assorted drinks. The donations were received on behalf of the Village by Mother Representative Theresa Safoh, who thanked the Company, its Board, Management, and staff for their continuous support.
As part of the celebration, hot meals were served to the entire village, with assorted soft drinks provided for children, mothers, and guests.
The event featured activities such as musical chairs, dancing competitions, and open dance sessions, with prizes presented to winners to encourage participation and excitement among the children.
In an interview with the GNA, Mr Eric Duodu, Alternative Care Coordinator of SOS Childrenâs Village, Tema, underscored the importance of partnerships in caring for vulnerable children.
He said SOS Childrenâs Village relied heavily on collaboration with corporate bodies and individuals to carry out its mandate and commended TT Brothers Limited for its consistency over the past 22 years.
Mr Duodu assured the public that all donations made to SOS Childrenâs Village were properly accounted for and used directly for the benefit of the children, adding that the organisation had strict systems and audits in place to ensure transparency.
He used the opportunity to call on other organisations and well-meaning Ghanaians to support SOS Childrenâs Village in caring for vulnerable children and families across the country.
The celebration ended with group photographs and renewed commitments to sustain the long-standing relationship between TT Brothers Limited and SOS Childrenâs Village in Tema.
