News reaching the Human Rights Reporters indicates that a Mentally Handicapped Woman has given birth to twins.
This human interest story happened in Obuasi in Ghana. Per information available to us, it is not clear who was actually responsible for the pregnancy, but it is common knowledge in the vicinity that someone might have forcibly engaged her in the act leading to the pregnancy.
Members of the community woke up one day to realize that she was pregnant. The miracle behind this story is that the Mentally Handicapped Woman never had access to antenatal care while pregnant, and what she fed on was not food that will often be described as healthy.
